Objectives:

1.  List the general indications, contraindications, and appropriate uses for TEE.

2.  Describe the general assessment, preparation and contraindications for a comprehensive TEE examinaiton.

3.  Recognize and acquire the 28 views comprising a comprhensive TEE examination.

4.  Explain the use of each of the 28 views as well as additional views as needed in structural and congenital heart disease.
