1. Participants will get an understanding of current trends of utilization of anesthesia services for GI procedures and of their determinants.

2. Participants will be able to identify situations at risks and possible approaches to improve patient safety in the GI suite.

3. Participants will gain familiarity the recent history and controversial aspects of procedural sedation in the GI suite.
