  • Learning Objective 1: Review the pharmacokinetics of non-intravenous opioid delivery and the clinical applications for which each may be appropriate.
  • Learning Objective 2: Review some of the basic principles of aerosol drug delivery.
  • Learning Objective 3: Learn about pulmonary delivery of opioids, including delivery of fentanyl as a thermally generated aerosol.
