  1. Case-Based Understanding of Obesity Pathophysiology: Gain an in-depth understanding of the underlying pathophysiology of the relationship between obesity, HTN and Kidney disease through the analysis and discussion of clinical cases.
  2. Enhance participants' knowledge in iatrogenic weight gain in HTN and the effect of weight loss in HTN and Kidney disease.
  3. Enhance participants' knowledge and skills in the utilization of antiobesity medications in HTN and Kidney disease.

  1. Understand the association between obesity and cardiovascular disease.
  2. Understand the relationship between metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular disease.
  3. Review the literature on the SELECT Trial.
