Objectives

 

1.  Participants will be able to identify the five diagnostic criteria for the PANDAS subgroup and differentiate it from other presentations of childhood-onset obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)

2.  Participants will understand the disease mechanism for PANDAS, including the etiologic role of Group A streptococcal infections

3.  Participants will be able to list the diagnostic tests useful in the evaluation of acute-onset OCD.
