Objectives:

• Recognize common presenting features of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in pediatric patients, including extraintestinal manifestations 
• Develop a broad differential diagnosis for microcytic anemia and understand how to apply appropriate diagnostic testing to differentiate causes of iron deficiency anemia
• Recognize cognitive biases that contribute to diagnostic error, including anchoring bias
