Learning Objectives:
- Evaluate the current state of neuroimaging research in aging and dementia, examining how neuroimaging has traditionally been done and where it’s going.
- Understand the applications of multi-modal MRI sequences to compliment behavior and non-imaging biomarkers, including how statistical learning with multiple imaging techniques can provide valuable insights into the diverse underlying causes and mechanisms of dementia in the aging population.
- Learn how a “Big Data” approach can lead to comprehensive and individualized neuroimaging-based profiles for better subtyping, inference, and eventually, clinical decision-making.
