Objectives:

1. The attendees will learn the critical neuroanatomical substrates and limiting factors for proposed artificial vision prostheses;

2.  The attendees will become acquainted with previous attempts to create artificial vision prosthesis.; and

3.  The attendees will become familiar with the current multicenter NIH visual prosthesis clinical trial here at the University of Chicago
