1. Perioperative alpha blockade is necessary for patients with pheochromocytoma

2. Intraoperative management of blood pressure can be accomplished in a variety of ways

3. Patients with a history of pheochromocytoma can be at increased risk of cardiovascular changes secondary to chronic hypertension
