1. Explain the pathophysiology and genetic basis of iron overload disorders with emphasis on HFE-related hereditary hemochromatosis

2. Apply guideline-based diagnostic strategies to evaluate suspected hemochromatosis, including iron studies, genetic testing and non-invasive fibrosis assessment 

3. Manage hemochromatosis using evidence-based therapies, including phlebotomy, alternative treatments, family screening and HCC surveillance in advanced disease
