DESCRIPTION:

Immune checkpoint inhibitors have transformed cancer treatment but can cause immune-related adverse events (irAEs) that require prompt recognition and management. This CME session reviews the clinical presentation, diagnosis, and initial management of endocrine irAEs, including thyroid dysfunction, hypophysitis, primary adrenal insufficiency, and diabetes. Through a case-based approach, participants will learn strategies for timely identification, appropriate evaluation, and hormone replacement therapy. The session also highlights the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.
