DESCRIPTION:

Our understanding of breast cancer genetics in individual of African ancestry has been limited, which affects genetics testing, counseling, and risk-adaptive breast cancer screening. This presentation will review recent progress in breast cancer genetics in this population and discuss how these findings can be translated into clinical practice for cancer prevention.
