Objectives:

  • Review two similar but in fact very different babies in the well baby nursery/NICU;
  • Learn to distinguish low vs. high risk infants with perinatal exposure to HIV;
  • Review appropriate testing for HIV by age;
  • Review the latest version of the State of IL perinatal HIV guidelines;
  • Describe how they are being implemented at our institution.
