  • Determine complication risks of giant PEH left untreated
  • Find factors that contribute to post-POEM GERD and figure out how to mitigate these
  • Define genetic profile of patients at risk for developing hiatal hernia
  • Assess the impact of weight loss via medical management vs surgical management on endothelial health profile
