Objectives:

1. Discuss some of the literature regarding anticoagulation in the elderly at risk of falls and increased risk of intracranial hemorrhage. 

2. Recognize the risks vs. benefits of anticoagulation in the elderly as it applies to atrial fibrillation

3. Potentially apply this knowledge to patients in our own practice.
