Learning Objectives:

1. To understand the need for timely referral, assessment, pre-transplant optimization, and listing for potential lung transplant candidates.

2. To identify how a history of pre-transplant malignancy (both hematologic and solid organ) and cancer treatment impacts lung transplant candidacy and timing of transplant evaluation and listing.

3. To understand pre-lung transplant management of extrapulmonary manifestations of connective tissue diseases in the transplant candidate.
