Objectives:

 

1-Review Meningitis/Encephalitis cases through inpatient service with discrepant results between ME panel and standard CSF tests

2- Review yield of CSF parameters and cultures and diagnostic challenges for meningitis/encephalitis (ME) from literature

3- Review the most recent literatures about ME panel test (4 published articles)

4- Discuss pros and cons of ME panel, how we interpret the results in light discordant routine CSF studies and clinical pictures ?
