Objectives:

- At the conclusion of this activity, participants will understand how newborn’s lungs are populated by immune cells.

-At the conclusion of this activity, participants will understand how signals from lung epithelium directs the expansion and maturation of lung resident immune cells

- At the conclusion of this activity, participants will understand how disruption of lung development during the ‘neonatal window’ has durable consequences for the immune landscape in the lungs
