Objectives:

1.  List the general indications, contra-indications, and appropriate uses for TEE.

2.  Describe the general assessment, preparation and contra-indications for a comprehensive TEE examination.

3.  Recognize and acquire the 28 views comprising a comprehensive TEE examination.

4.  Explain the use of each of the 28 views as well as additional views as needed in structural and congenital heart disease.
