Learning Objectives

1. Attendees will learn management algorithms for stable and unstable patients with penetrating thoracic trauma.

2. Attendees will learn the various incision options for operative management.

3. Attendees will learn operative and non-operative options to manage complications from penetrating thoracic trauma (eg. retained hemothorax, sternal infection).
