Update of Substance Use Disorder: The Golden Thread from Acute to Long Term Care
Glenview, IL US
November 19, 2025
This comprehensive symposium explores the rising trends and complex realities of substance use disorders (SUDs). Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of addiction phenomenology, epidemiology, and the profound impact of SUDs and co-occurring psychiatric disorders on health, mortality, and society. The course addresses pressing needs in the United States, where SUDs affect millions, yet treatment remains inaccessible for many due to resource limitations and disparities.
Through expert-led sessions, learners will examine current assessment tools, evidence-based interventions—including pharmacotherapy and medication-assisted treatment (MOUD)—and strategies for addressing psychiatric comorbidities.
Join us to advance your expertise, improve patient care, and address the urgent societal challenges related to substance use disorders.
This activity is brought to you in partnership with Endeavor Health.
