1. To (briefly) review the history of opioid use in human civilization and gain an understanding of why there is an opioid problem in the US and why there is such an epidemic here in Illinois.
2. To appreciate the impact of appropriately identifying and treating opioid use disorders in the populations we serve.
3. To understand various treatment options for Opioid Use Disorders.
