Learning Objectives:

1.  Review the recent recommendations for infant feeding for persons with HIV published by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

2.  Cite the data supporting the safety of breast-/chest feeding in the setting of a birthing parent with known HIV and sustained virologic suppression. 

3.  Describe the standard approach to the postnatal management of infants who are born to persons with HIV and are breast-/chest feeding.
