1. Review critically provision of care in the PICU for patients that died, suffered cardiopulmonary arrest, or acquired a nosocomial infection or line thrombus

 2.  Identify strategies for improvement in patient care and safety, which can include creation of new protocols or management guidelines

3. By discussing new approaches to past cases, this conference will refine physician judgment, reduce medical errors, and improve patient safety.
