Objectives:

1. Critically appraise a scientific research article according to JAMA's guide to critical appraisal of the literature

2. Discuss the indications for Renal Replacement Therapy (RRT) 

3. Review the literature addressing timing of RRT in pediatric and adult patients

4. Discuss direct application of study results to our pediatric population which will possible change patient outcomes and decrease patient morbidity.
