2. Appreciate that lack of growth is a symptom, not a diagnosis
3. Understand the need for ongoing medical routine visits – early detection and intervention
4. Learn the importance of a growth chart to monitor growth and adherence
5. Appreciate that it can be multifactorial and it is not an either/or “organic vs non organic”
6. Know that child welfare involvement should focus on enhancing adherence
7. Appreciate that a referral to DCFS for growth faltering should be because there is concern for neglect
