This presentation will review translational research and the development of targeted therapies for MLL-rearranged leukemia and NPM1 mutant leukemia
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• Understand the role of MLL gene rearrangements and NPM1 mutations in the pathogenesis of acute leukemia.
• Discuss preclinical models of MLL-r and NPM1m leukemia and their role in the development of targeted therapies.
• Review the development of MLL-menin inhibitors as targeted therapies for acute leukemia and analyze mechanisms of resistance.
