Morbidity and Mortality Conference facilitates an intensive review of adverse events related to perioperative care. Our quality officer receives 40 events per months in which we review the most significant 2 at each conference. These reviews allow for our anesthesia professionals to modify and improve their practices for future anesthesia care. The M&M conference coupled with the grand rounds lectureship will provide intense review of cases of adverse events and quality evidence based solutions to these events so that they do not happen again.
