Description

This monthly health equity rounds series brings together physicians, trainees, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to explore the social, structural, and clinical factors that contribute to health inequities. Through interdisciplinary case conferences, expert presentations, and discussions with community leaders, participants examine the impact of structural racism, implicit bias, and other drivers of health disparities while identifying evidence-informed strategies to promote equitable care. Learners will strengthen their understanding of the challenges faced by diverse patient populations, develop practical approaches to advancing health equity in clinical and academic settings, and foster meaningful interdisciplinary collaboration. By integrating these principles into everyday practice, participants will be better equipped to deliver more equitable, patient-centered care and improve health outcomes for the communities they serve.
