Objectives:

  1. Develop an understanding of low-risk criteria and possible application to clinical practice.
  2. Discuss recent data demonstrating the safety of decreasing antibiotics usage and hospitalization for certain febrile infants.
  3. Introduce attendees to the REVISE project, a national QI collaborative through the American Academy of Pediatrics seeking to improve standardization of care for febrile neonates.
