Objectives:

1. Understand the role of different diagnostic modalities for identifying benign esophageal lesions and disorders

2. Become familiar with different surgical options for resection of benign esophageal masses

3. Assess different forms of achalasia and be able to recommend minimally invasive techniques for repair when feasible
