Objectives:

1. Describe the prevalence of obesity in older adults as well as the relationship between BMI and morbidity and mortality in older adults

2. Discuss the evidence for obesity treatments in older adults, including lifestyle modifications & advanced therapies such as medications & surgery

3. Apply evidence on obesity treatments in older adults to management of a specific patient case
