Objectives:

1.  have an understanding of the embryologic processes and anatomy that underlie inguinal hernias, testicular descent, testicular torsion, and varcicoele formation

2.  have an appreciation for the surgical options for treatment of inguinal hernias, cryptorchidism, testicular torsion, and varicocoele, and some of the clinical scenarios for which they apply
